We conduct stocktakes at surgeries on an annual basis for accounting purposes and also provide data when a GP joins or leaves a practice.
The OCS team use electronic scanning technology, as recommended by auditors and accountants, to provide a true stock valuation.
We offer full UK coverage and weekend counts are available on request.

The OCS team have sole use of industry pricing data to enable them to value stock at accurate purchase prices.
Following a count you will receive a report with details of stock broken down by category e.g.

• Branded ethicals
• Generics
• PI lines
• CD lines
• Dressings
• Fridge
• Colostomy

Additional reporting is available on request to include:

• Stock held within nurses rooms
• Items awaiting collection
• Nomad trays
• Equipment – bottles, caps, containers
• Valuation of out of date stock

We offer discounted rates for multiple surgeries and members of certain buying groups are eligible for discounted rates.

A stocktake can be scheduled up to 12 months in advance and we recommended that you book at least 6 months in advance.
